Growing up on the grounds of a summer camp near the Sequoia National Park in Central
California, I had many opportunities to fish on several large lakes. At a young age, I began to slowly build my fishing skills and talents and eventually earned a guiding job with the camp.
When the camps weren’t in session, I was let to my own devices to find entertainment. Living in a secluded area, my only friend growing up was my Australian Blue Heeler, Blue. Blue and I would fish most of the time and occasionally my Dad would join us.
